Andrea is a fully qualified UK Teacher of Science with a specialisation in Chemistry. PGCE from the University of Worcester, Qulified Teacher Status (QTS) and clean DBS. She has a degree in Genetics from the University of York, and worked in the field of medical research prior to teaching.

Andrea has experience of teaching for Key Stage 3 (11-14) Science and GCSE (14-16) Combined Science, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics for various UK exam boards during her four years as a classroom teacher. 

As a one-to-one tutor for over two years, Andrea has taught in person and online lessons for A level Biology and Chemistry, GCSE Separates Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, and GCSE Combined Science. She has experience with all the main UK exam boards.

Andrea has also tutored US High School Physics, Chemistry, and Biology; GED Science; and for UK University entrance exams aimed at international students.

Andrea is passionate about igniting the students' interests in the world around them in order to bring out their best efforts and achieve their goals. Andrea tailors lessons to the individual in order to maximise student learning in every session.
